Who is Tarot Professionals?

Tarot Professionals was founded in 2008 by Marcus Katz, M.A., M.B.A., PhD Candidate (Western Esotericism, University of Exeter). He has been studying, reading and teaching Tarot for 30 years. His first Tarot book, Tarosophy, will be published in Summer 2010.

We have a global membership ranging from total newcomers to Tarot - who gain our flagship "Courtyard Course" lessons and video lessons - to the world's leading authors and teachers. Our aim is to support your Tarot interest and enthusiasm with our own playful but professional experience.

We believe that Tarot is a a wisdom tool - Tarosophy - to engage life, not escape it. We teach methods of Tarot to divine your life, and make your way better through it - understanding more along the way.

We do not teach Tarot to pass the time nor distract you from real-world issues. We are passionate but not obsessed with our Tarot, we learn and teach it deeply but are open to new opinions. We are focused but friendly, supportive but challenging.

What is a Tarosophy® Tarot House?

People have asked what is the difference between a Tarosophy Tarot House meeting and "just a Tarot gathering". There are many differences! As a registered Tarot House with Tarot Professionals, all your members are immediately given membership to the exclusive Tarot Professionals site with full access to the leading magazine, Tarosophist International, Video Lessons, Forum, Reading Exchange, Legal and Marketing Guides and more. Your Membership Certificate is signed by the most respected and widely recognised names in Tarot, Mary K. Greer, Rachel Pollack and Lon Milo Duquette! Every Tarosophy Tarot House meeting has unique lessons given (optionally) and exclusive Tarot exercises to take your Tarot to whole new levels!
